Woolrich® Introduces New American Made Lighting

High Point, NC—Woolrich, Inc., the brand inspired by the outdoors and by people who enjoy an outdoor lifestyle, is introducing seven new lamps made entirely in America by Shady Lady®. The new products will debut at the Shady Lady Showroom, IHFC Design Center D411, during the High Point Market, April 7-13, 2008.

The new Woolrich introductions are greatly inspired by imagery taken from the American landscape. Bases incorporate materials such as powder-coated iron, real pinecones and oak leaf embellishments while the shades consist of antiqued Kraft, faux suede and leather fabrics in natural tones.

“I think it is important right now for people to see that we are still working to keep production in the United States. We are proud of the work we do at our factory and want to make it known,” says Shady Lady President, Susie Morter.

Pine Creek Collection offers a unique design for those who enjoy being outdoors and want to bring nature inside. Real pinecones combine with powder-coated wrought iron to create the authentic natural look of this collection consisting of candlesticks, a chandelier and wall sconce, table, accent and floor lamps and now a functional bridge and desk lamp.

Pine Creek Bridge Lamp: Your perfect reading light. Position it by your favorite chair and move the adjustable arm for the lighting direction that is “just right.” Features a pull cord switch. Stands 55” tall, retails at $249.
Pine Creek Desk Lamp: Perfect for spaces where you need attractive but functional light. It features a turn knob switch and an adjustable arm, allowing the direction of light to be easily changed. Includes faux mica shade with tan and white swirl detailing. Stands 18” tall, retails at $199.

Our Oak Rod and Staff Floor and Table Lamps use iconic oak leaves to enhance the antiqued copper finish of their simple iron bases. Topped with a square antiqued Kraft shade, these lamps are American inspired and American made. Floor lamp stands 61” tall and retails at $279. Table lamp stands 30” tall and retails at $234.

Oakleaf Trio Floor and Table Lamps with clean lines give these lamps a contemporary look while the trio of oak leaves add a touch of nature. The powder-coated finish in natural iron blends well in modern homes and high country lodges.
