Shady Lady Leads Customization Trend with "Mix & Match"

A famous Greek philosopher once said, "The only thing constant is change.” Change, in the form of customization, is the latest trend hitting the lighting industry and the innovators at Shady Lady are taking the lead. Known for their wide variety of lighting styles and accessories, Shady Lady is making changes themselves with their new "Mix & Match” concept.
This concept was created to change the landscape of indoor and outdoor lighting by allowing the retailer, design firm and/or consumer to customize lamps and accessories to their décor.
"The customization trend continues to grow as consumers look to differentiate their surroundings and create their own personal style,” said Susie Morter, President of Shady Lady. "Our new ‘Mix & Match’ concept offers the option of changing the appearance of the lamps to match any indoor or outdoor space,” explains Susie.
Each of the different collections containing lamps with "Mix & Match” capabilities will be recognized by a hang tag or logo which designates the option of picking out fabrics, finishes, and at times different embellishments to create a one-of-a-kind accessory. Shady Lady is able to reach this level of customization because these new collections are manufactured and assembled at their factory in Grafton, WI, giving them total control over customizing and of course, quality.
